The University of Pittsburgh Department of Anesthesiology
has an ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine Fellowhip Program. Physicians
who have completed their residencies may apply for a one-year
fellowship, starting in January or July. The Pain Medicine Fellowship
program is a truly multidisciplinary program with services ranging
from pain rehabilitation to interventional therapies, affording
the fellows opportunities to learn from work with psychologists,
physical therapists, occupational therapists, and pain medicine
physicians from other disciplines including neurology, psychiatry,
and rehabilitation medicine. Productive research is encouraged
and supported.
